- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆They treat you with respect, though you might feel low on the totem pole. If you're honest and let them know if you're having a set back they work with you. They have programs meant to help if your income increases. They only give you attitude if you are deceitful and/ot aggressive. As for the apartments, they have a lot of built up dirt in the corners upon move-in that cannot be removed, but thats from long term tenants who lived that way. Yes, the apartments are too small and you feel "confined", but I'm grateful not to be in the dangerous streets and to be warm. Maintenance people do whats within guidelines. The ones I've dealt with all have good attitudes, are friendly, and respectful and do good work. No one is without fault, but I think they do pretty good. Only someone ungrateful and unrealistic would find fault in the way Ms. HAILEY is running the Union City Housing Authority.By Melissa Buford, January 14, 2017
